Republicans govern by gossip

Republicans govern by gossip: “I’ve heard parents tell me of many tragic cases of children suffering harm after receiving shots,” Sen. Rand Paul. “Parents should be given a choice,” Gov. Chris Christie. Former Rep. Bachman proudly pointed to her neighbor’s gossip as scientific evidence that Obamacare was killing mothers, children, and seniors. Republican leaders want to govern the country based on gossip. Instead of listening to the overwhelmingly accepted medical advise of doctors who unanimously tell us vaccinations do not cause autism. Republicans are pandering to voter ignorance. Vaccinations is not a complex issue. Those of us who are old enough know what it was like before vaccinations became mandatory. Vaccinations have ended many major diseases. But vaccinations only work if every child has them. Parents who do not allow their children to be vaccinated put all other children’s lives at risk. Republicans who govern by gossip for votes are willing to endanger the entire country for politics. Richard Dorsey, Hacienda Heights, CA.
